AverMedia Game Capture card has a RTMP Live Streaming option in the RECentral 4 section. When you first start the software, Live Streaming is not yet set up. Step 2: Please go into the Youtube homepage, click on your user photo then click on “YouTube Studio” Step 3: Click on Go live on the Creator Studio sidebar. Step 4: Create a NEW STREAM. Just under a week ago I posted a “first look” at AVerMedia’s latest offering in the HD capture card market: the Live Gamer Portable. In short summary, I said that the C875 would be a direct competitor for the Elgato Game Capture HD but, on closer inspection, it seems to blow everything else out of the water.

Back in February I was lucky enough to secure a review sample of the AVerMedia Game Capture Portable, which I suspect might be the best selling capture card in 2013. Why do I say that?
Where do we begin?
The C875 supports full HD recording at 60fps and works with consoles as well as PCs. Those of us on PS3, XBOX or Wii can also take advantage of PC-less recording: a feature which seems to be unique to AVerMedia and is the main reason why I purchased my existing device, the Game Capture HD.
In addition to the above, it has HDMI in/out, a built in processor to avoid draining system resources for PC users and has full live streaming support. Oh, it’s also about the size of an iPhone.
AVerMedia C875: Pricing & Availability
As I predicted in my previous post on the C875, the Live Gamer Portable has launched on Amazon.com for $179.99 although it’s it isn’t available on Amazon.co.uk just yet. When it is available, expect to pay £179.99.
In terms of my own review unit, I understand this is now in the hands of UK Border Control and I hope to have it within the next week. As soon as it is in my possession you can expect an unboxing and full review 🙂
