How To Use F1 On Games On Mac

My second playsession on the Mac client. I got my keymappings copied over from Windows, but the function keys still give me their silk-screened functions within LotRO. I have to use fn-F1, etc, in order to get the functions I have mapped within LotRO... and even then I don't get those functions with the higher F's. Is there a way I can get F1 to select myself, F2 to select the fellowship leader, etc? I often play healers in groups and having to chord a fellow selection is a real PITA.
